Mandarin Immersion

Manhattan Mandarin takes pride in being the only testing center in NYC to authorize official Mandarin proficiency testing. Our fantastic team of teachers carefully evaluate students' levels and customize engaging lesson plans to cultivate their language skills. Class will be full immersion, focusing on expanding general acquisition of the language.
Arts & Crafts
10:00-10:45am
Our talented teachers will provide colorful and fun lessons for students including classical Chinese painting, paper-cutting, collage work, and more! Class instruction will continue in Mandarin. Every day will cover a different topic regarding China, allowing students to further immerse and enjoy Chinese arts.
Travel with MM!
11:00-12:00pm
Manhattan Mandarin’s teachers will be bringing China to you! Every day will cover a different city in China. Foods, hotspots, history, and more! At the end of the program, students will create their own passports, itinerary, and plan out their future trip to China!
☀️Monday - Fridays at Manhattan Mandarin’s HQ on 153 East 70th Street.
☀️Open to students ages 6-12 ; Groups are divided by ages and levels
☀️Students of all Mandarin levels welcome
☀️Dedicated hours to language learning, arts & crafts, and culture classes. 15 minute breaks will be included between each class.
☀️Each day we will target a different city and explore it's culture, art, and history all in Mandarin!
☀️Designed as a week-long camp, for maximum benefit to your child’s Mandarin level*
☀️Full day 9:30 am-3:30pm or half day (9:30-12:30 or 12:30-3:30)
☀️Extended hours available
☀️Teacher student ratio typically 1:5
☀️What to bring: packed nut-free lunch, snack and water.
